É melhor não tocares no teu PC com windows...
Isto é um "must" do windows! Um gajo troca o ventilador/dissipador do CPU e instala um sensor de temperatura, e a chave do windows deixa de ser válida!! Agora tem de telefonar para a microsoft e explicar-lhes o que fez NO SEU PC, para ver se eles o autorizam a usar o SEU PC... Ou vai ao Barata :D
Isto é que é baixar as calçinhas.....

I installed a new CPU fan which involved taking out the CPU to clear off
thermal paste and to also install the heatsink retention module which
involved taking the Motheboard out, everything works fine but when I got to
Windows it said there is a hardware change and I need to reactivate Windows
or after 3 days its nuked, so I put my cd-key in again and it said its
already in use so I have to phone Microsoft to get it reactivated, but as its
Saturday the 3rd day is Monday so my Windows might not be operable by the
time I can phone Tech Support.
Is there anything that can be done without phoning MS to get my cd-key
working again?

A MS é que manda no teu PC amigo...
É mesmo interessante como a MS arranjou maneira de saber o que as pessoas andam a fazer aos seus PC's.

É o pao nosso de cada dia aqui na empresa no que toca a portateis, já que têm xp oem. Ora este menino ao fim de 2 reinstalações não se toca, e não percebe que o pc ainda continua a ser o mesmo, mesmo sem ter mudado nenhum hardware. Toca a chatear o "centro de activação em Portugal", pois o novo # de serie gerado automaticamente *pelo windows* a partir do # do produto *NUNCA* funciona. Alias portateis devem ser mesmo a galinha dos ovos de ouro no licenciamento windoze. Mas isso é outra historia...
